About the Event
In August of 2016, we hosted our first Sierra Arts Festival in Edmonton to give youth in care a chance to express themselves in a meaningful, artisitc way. Workshops included hoop dancing, photography, drumming, painting, puppet making and video. At the end of the three day Festival, a banquet was held that featured performances and a display of arts created. The second Festival will be held in the summer of 2020.
